ThermoMate ES800 8-Gallon Mini-Tank Water Heater: 8-gallon tank

What it delivers

The ThermoMate ES800 8-Gallon Mini-Tank Water Heater is a mini-tank heater holding 8 gallons, rated at 1.44 kW on 120 volts.

A mini tank delivers its stored gallons at full flow, then recovers; it is the quick fix for a sink that waits a minute for hot water.

At 120 volts it plugs into or wires to an ordinary household circuit, which is why mini tanks are a common retrofit.
