What it delivers
The DrainX DXP1-1110 Tankless Flush Kit is a flush kit for descaling a tankless heat exchanger; its listing says it fits most all tankless water heaters such as Rinnai, Bosch, Noritz, Rheem, Takagi, Tempra.
The pump circulates vinegar or a descaling solution through the heater from a bucket for about an hour, connected to the service valves on the hot and cold lines.
A flush is a yearly job on most heaters (Rinnai: at least once a year), longer and more often on hard water; the pump only has to move a few gallons a minute.
Listed details: material: Metal, Plastic; model: DXP1-1110.
The listing gives dimensions of 12 in (W) x 11.25 in (H) and a weight of 16 ounces.
