What it delivers
The EcoSmart ECOS 12 Electric Tankless Water Heater is a compact electric tankless rated at 12 kW on 240 volts. Its listing gives a maximum flow of 2.9 GPM.
Expect about 1.2 GPM with cold winter water (a 70°F rise) and 1.8 GPM when the inlet is milder (45°F rise); that is less than one 2 GPM shower in January. Check your house in the planner.
At 240 volts 12 kW is about 50 amps. The requirement calculator shows it at 208 V too; an electrician confirms the panel.
It skips venting entirely, but the amps are the hurdle: check the panel before the plumbing.
Listed details: material: Plastic; model: ECOS 12; warranty: 5 Year Limited.
The listing gives dimensions of 8 in (W) x 11.5 in (H) and a weight of 5 lb.
Warranty, per the listing: 5 Year Limited.
